1994
The business begins
Founded by Con O’Regan in Kinsale as a sole trader, operating a Belarus tractor. Early work included working with McGinty & O’Shea on the Bandon Road halfway roundabout.
1998

The business purchased its second new dumper, a Benford, and continued to expand its hire fleet.
2001
O’Regan Plant Sales Ltd is formed
The business expanded into mini-digger, excavator and general plant hire, while developing a specialism in six-ton dumper hire. It supplied major projects including the Luas in Dublin and Croke Park, working with McGinty & O’Shea, Wills Brothers and Roadbridge.
2002
Equipment sales begin
The company became a Terex dealer for six-ton dumpers and mini diggers, equipment previously sold under the Schaeff name.
2006
Headquarters purchased
The company purchased its headquarters in Watergrasshill and continued to develop its property and rental activities. The Watergrasshill business park has since grown to a 3.5-acre site, with more than 20,000 square feet of available space.
